The
values tabulated in the above table apply to types 304L, 316L
in the temperature range of -20 degrees F to 100 degrees F.
For types 304, 309, 310, 316, 317, 321 multiply the above values
by 76000/70000.
The above listed burst pressure is calculated using the following
formula which conforms to ASME specification UG-27 and UG-31
(Burst Press=2eSt/D-0.8t), D-Outside Diameter, e-weld efficiency=.85,
S-Tensile strength=75,000 psi, t-wall thinckness.
